Declaring Forest

A fate far worse than being kept apart from your beloved, does such thing exist? If ever there  was, it would be a fate of being close to your beloved but still apart...having them be face to face, close enough you could touch them, but you are kept from doing so...that is the sad terrible fate of this story.

It began 3 weeks ago in a forest...A girl began running between trees trying to find the way out. She ran until she lost her breath and stopped to catch it again. As she finally caught her breath, she stood up and looked around. She could see trees all around her but at a distance, she was in a large open clearing. In this spot there was also a covered sitting area. There was two benches one at each end, a pink flowy canopy covering, and pretty pink and white flowers sprouted around. She walked through it and began dancing as though she was in a romantic movie. As she made her way back around she stopped, blushing in embarrassment. A tall handsome man was standing by the front, watching in awe. "What are you looking at" she asked. "You" he responded confidently. Her cheeks turned bright red, "How much did you see?" she asked the man. "Enough to see how beautiful you are" he responded. He motioned to the seats and they both took a seat. He looked straight into her eyes and said " My name is Rohan Zovala." She responded "My name is Forest." He laughed a little bit and said "that's ironic since you're literally in one." They both chuckled. "Where did you come from?" she asked. "This is my garden, I tend to it everyday" he said. After that day they both began meeting at that same place at the same time, they grew close to each other. A couple months later they were supposed to be meeting at their same spot as they do everyday when Forest's parents stopped her. "Where are you going?" they asked. "To the garden" she responded. "We know your secret" they called out. "What's that?" she asked. "We know about the boy you've been seeing" they answered. "He's the garden keeper" she responded. Her parents were not happy...see they knew she went to the garden everyday but they didn't know she was seeing a guy there. One day a lady who would sometimes visit the garden, saw them one day and told her parents. "You can't see him anymore" they said. "That's not fair!" she yelled. "We're not discussing this" they said as they walked out of the room. Forest ran to the garden to meet with Rohan. When she arrived she told him all about what had happened. He said "there is only one thing for us to do then." He got down on one knee and said "Forest, the first day I met you I could see how beautiful you were. How beautiful you are. I know that after spending all this time getting to know you that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know I am only a gardener and not rich or anything, but...will you accept me for who I am and marry me?" he asked. She was really excited and she said "yes!" He put the ring on her finger then picked her up and spun her around. "We'll leave tonight" he said. "Okay!" she responded as she went back home to pack. "You can't stop us" she said to her parents as she grabbed all her things and headed out the door. She ran to the forest and waited for him to show up, little did she know of what was happening back at home. Her parents stopped by a powerful mans home. "Can you stop them?" they asked the man. "I certainly can he said." Then he took a potion and brought it to Rohan's house." He held the potion so Rohan could see and said "this potion is poisonous. If Forest touches you, she will die. You must not have any contact with her at all." "What do I do then? She's waiting at the garden" Rohan said. "Tell her you can't be together anymore." said the man. Rohan reluctantly went to the garden and did as the man said. Forest jumped up in excitement when she saw Rohan. "You ready? Lets go!" she said. "I can't" he responded with tears. "Why not?" she asked. "I can't go with you!" he shouted angrily. "Why!?" she asked concerned. "Your parents...they..." he said. "What did they do!?" she asked in anger. "Tell me!" "They told a man to poison me so we can't touch each other or be close. We can't go, I'm sorry." He said. "No..." she said as she fell down to her knees in tears. She began sobbing. "We had no choice." her parents said in the shadows. "How could you!" she said angrily. "Go away, I don't want to ever see you again!" she said to her parents. They walked home to give her some time. They waited up at home but when it began to get late they got worried...meanwhile back at the garden Forest was still crying. Her tears began falling onto the flowers. A strange substance came from the flower and Rohan touched some of it. Forest came closer to Rohan. "No Forest do-" he said but it was too late. She was already holding his hands, but surprisingly she didn't die. "It must be the cure" she responded. Forest and Rohan knew they had to act quick so they grabbed their things and ran out of town. They got married and sent a letter back to her parents explaining how the flowers had the cure and that they had gotten happily married.

It was their 2 year wedding anniversary and Forest and Rohan were celebrating...Rohan was at work but Forest had a surprise for him when he got home for dinner. He knocked on the door and she let him in. They sat down to eat dinner and she said "I have a surprise for you." "What is it?" he asked. "we're gonna be parents." she said in excitement. He picked her up and spun her around. "That's great!" He said.  The End

Rugged Man

There was once a man who lived in the world on his own. Not because he didn't have family or friends, but because he didn't believe he was worthy of them. He would distance himself and stay away from others that cared about him. One day a girl tried to show him that somebody does care but he wouldn't listen to what
she had to say and turned her away. She was very sad that he wouldn't listen to her. She wanted him to see his true worth. She prayed every day and night. One day he decided to go into town and visit the store to pick up some things he needed. While there he went to a bar and had a drink. As he walked out all the townspeople shouted "RUGGED MAN!" and so he became the rugged man.
He had a reputation of being a drunker and a homeless no good. Nobody truly knew him, they were never close enough to get to know him. Eventually he began to believe the things he was told and he didn't even like himself. He believed the words so much that they became true. He would get drunk almost every night and do terrible things. People were scared of him, too afraid to go near him or his house. If he wasn't at the bar, he was at home alone.  It was to the point where it seemed all hope was lost when a girl came by. She knocked on his door and he answered it. "Why are you here? Don't you know everyone's afraid of me?" he asked. "I know they are afraid of you but I'm not" she answered. He let her in and they sat down and talked. She invited him to go to church but he said "nobody there likes me, they wouldn't want me to go." "But you need to...just think about it" the girl said. She left his house as he pondered the invitation. The next morning the girl got ready to go to church and wondered if the man would show up. She arrived at church and didn't see him yet. Meanwhile back at his house, he woke up and thought about the invitation and decided to take it. He got ready and went to church where he saw the girl again. She motioned him to sit with her and he did. The service started and at the end the pastor did a service call.  The girl asked if he was going to do it and he responded "God could never love me. Look at who I am, at what I've done...at what others say about me. He could never love me." "But he does" she said. "He loves you regardless of what you've done. Regardless of how you feel or what others say, it doesn't change His love for you." "Would you like to go?" she invited. "Yes I would" the man said as tears began to fall...she walked him up to the altar while everyone was in shock. How could the rugged man be worthy of Jesus? That was what he was asking himself but the pastor at the altar gave him that answer..."for all those here today who would like to accept Jesus are welcome to take the invitation. I want you to understand that this isn't about being worthy. It isn't about how great of a person you are. This is about how great you need Him and he is going to heal your heart today." That spoke to the man and he had realized that faith wasn't about coming to the father as a perfect righteous man, but it was about meeting a healer who could make broken things whole and bring a rugged man back to Him. He knew he needed this right now. "Repeat after me" the pastor said. "I come today to confess that I am not sinless. I have committed many sins in my life time. I know that I am not worthy of your Grace Lord. But I come today a broken man (or woman) and I need a healer to heal me. God I need you. I am sorry for the sins I have committed against you and all others and I vow to live out my life not for me but for you." As the preacher spoke the words, the congregation followed. Tears strolled down the mans face and he became the Changed Man.

I would like to give a special message. This story is to show you what faith is truly all about. There is talk going around that Christians are perfect human beings who have no problems and no pain and live a perfect life. We are told that when you get saved all of sudden God will keep you from all harm and any bad thing...That is absolutely false. I want you to know the truth and no longer believe the lie that we are told. Christian faith isn't an army of perfect soldiers...it isn't a kingdom built of holy men and women. It is a sanctuary for the broken and the hurting. It is a secret place for those who are sick and a map for those who are lost. God is not the magical being that keeps away all storms and shaky waters. He is the umbrella that shields us in storms...he is the mist that protects us from the fire. He doesn't blow the flames out of existence,, he merely gives us protection and strength to enable us to make it through the fire. He doesn't throw the mountain of the path, he guides us and comforts us as we walk up it. He doesn't make the long journey shorter, he walks with us as we trek through the sandy pathway. We have this belief that if we bring God into our lives, it takes us out of the path of pain and sometimes misery or grief. He never once says that we won't face difficult times, but he does promise that he will be there in those times. He doesn't force us to see him or believe in him, he gives us this choice. But when we do decide to turn him away and shut the door on him...if we were to open that door back up he would be sitting right by it ready to walk through, but with it shut we can't see him. If you think that by being saved you won't go through difficult times, then you're wrong. There are times he may bring you out of a storm but the best place you can be, is in the midst of a storm...but safe in his arms. The reason it seems that Christians never go through pain isn't because they don't go through those times, but because they have peace that only comes from God. If two people walk through a tunnel, one you hear echoing and yelling and the other not a sound...does that mean the silence means they never went through? Of course not...they both went through the same experience but it was how they dealt with it that made the difference. Christians don't escape life's hurdles, they just know how to make it through them.

The Man Who Was Dying
There lived a man who was never very popular. He was seen as an outcast because many did not understand Him, except one girl.

Her name was Ellie Sinclaire but she goes by Elle. She didn't know this man that well but still she could tell there was something special about Him. Even though the world tried to stay away, she always seemed to want to get closer. Something always drew her to Him. There was something about Him that always gave her peace. It was the one place where she didn't have to be afraid or worry, she knew everything would be okay.

It had been a week since she had seen the man and she was longing to be close again. She heard from some of the people in the town that He was going to be crucified. Many cheered in praise while others just observed the responses silently. She couldn't believe what she heard. "How could He die?" she thought. It was as if someone had just told her her best friend would be going far away. She couldn't stand the thought, she had to see for herself. She went into the middle of town and saw a man standing up on a cross. Tears formed in her eyes and rolled down her face. She couldn't believe it was true. What would she do without Him? That was the question. She looked around and noticed everyone seemed happy about this and they all mocked Him and did cruel things to Him. She wanted to tell them to stop but she knew they wanted, instead she just stood crying in sympathy. She looked up at him with a sad face and He looked back upon her. His look told her exactly what she wanted to know. She was worried she would never see Him again but she just knew, He wouldn't be gone. Her reaction was much different from the others. She had something with Him that they did not have and she just hoped one day maybe they would. That one day is today...There are two kinds of people in this world and we choose who we will be. Those that stand on the ground mocking Him and tuning their backs, or those that decided to look at Him with love and yearn to be close. That desire to be close...that love, is what set that girl apart from the crowd. Things possibly could've been different that day if the crowd had a change of heart.

A Growing Seed
A little hand, holding a tiny brown seed, the brown seed hits the ground. Little drops of water hit the ground over the seed. Golden sunlight shines over the tiny brown seed. Day by day that little seed starts to grow. After a month that tiny brown seed turns into a big brown oak forest! Those trees will keep growing for a long time as long as someone is giving them plenty of water. When you get saved your faith is like that seed, very tiny, but soon with enough resources it will grow into something much bigger and you can spread your faith too, as long as you read your bible and pray your faith will keep growing.

Hayley's P.O.V.
Hi, I'm Hayley Pierce. Today is our big moving day to America so I am recording it in my video camera. I am recording it all right now. Let me tell you why we are moving, well see we got this new queen and queens make rules. Well this queen decided people had to go too certain churches, couldn't go too certain places, and had to do certain things. My parents don't like being bossed around so much so they decided we needed to move. This wasn't an ordinary move to the next city move, no...it was a move all the way too America type of move. Am I happy about this? No not really but we do need too. Am I nervous? Yes! So that basically sums up why were moving. "It's almost time to go!" I hear my mom shout from downstairs. "Okay!" I shout back. I grab my boxes and walk to the car, all my boxes are in the car and we start our big move. REC. So we've been on the road for four hours now, my moms asleep since we hired a driver, and I'm just watching things go by. Well I'm going to stop recording now...REC. Now it has been 10 hours and we are in America. We are a few miles from our house in Florida. We pull up too the drive way and mom says "we're here!" as if it wasn't obvious;) I grab my boxes and walk inside. I take a tour around the house, it seems pretty nice!

Our driver parks the yellow car in the garage while we checkout our rooms. This is my room

This is my mom's room

Nice right? Okay well I'm going to let us get settled in okay? See you!

REC. Back! I missed you guys, but here I am. Anyway...so guess what!...My mom just told me I was going to go too American school! Already? I don't know if I'm ready:( I guess I'll find out.

The next day I go too school and head to my locker. I get my books and then walk too class. I suddenly trip and drop my books. I pick them up when suddenly another hand reaches down and picks the rest up. "Oh thanks" I say as I look up too see his Steel blue eyes. "I'm Derek Black" He says. "Oh hi I'm Hayley Pierce I answer back. "Your new right?" He asks. "yeah" I say. "Cool" He says. Then I walk off too class. First I have homeroom and then all the other classes. Derek is in every one of my classes, except homeroom. Cool right?

This is the end of the story, for now...
Soon there will be a continuing part! Stay tuned:)

Kinley The Amazing Dog

It all starts out with an extraordinary puppy, who grows up to be an extraordinary dog. Like most dogs tale's, Kinley was raised by his mother. Seems ordinary right? But here's where it gets different. Now not too long after, just when he had grown up, Kinley set off on his journey alone. He was raised by his mother so he was not used to being on his own, but surprisingly Kinley did well. It started out like any other day but soon Kinley will realize he is not any ordinary old Husky, he has a gift hidden inside him. Kinley was started on his journey. Walking the streets, eating any scrap food he could find, using any resources he could find. He found a lot of great things, but the most incredible thing was the fact that he could survive on his own! Most dogs would be scrawny and beat up by now, but Kinley looked like a pampered dog.

Yes this beautiful husky dog is Kinley! He had a gift, and that gift was that he could survive so well alone. Now that doesn't mean he won't find a good family in the end. Kinley had been walking the streets for a week now. He pretty much new the town up and down. Most dog tale's end with, and the dog found a nice family, but this tale is not like any other story. After walking for about a week, Kinley found a house. He walked up too the door and opened it, it was unlocked. He walked in and...he felt a cool breeze. He felt strange, different, so he decided too look in the mirror. When he looked in the mirror he didn't see what he was expecting to see, because he didn't see a dog. He saw a human. Kinley was frightened by his reflection and ran outside. He checked every single mirror he found but in every mirror was the same reflection, no dog! "What's going on!?" Kinley asked himself. "Is anything wrong, are you lost?" asked an elderly lady in front of him, he must of had a lost expression on his face. "oh umm...sort of" Kinley answered. "Do you have a home?" asked the lady. "no" answered Kinley. "Follow me" the lady said and he did just that. They got too this nice little house and walked in. They walked upstairs too a room. "You can sleep here" she said and pointed to the bed. "Umm, I'm not supposed to sleep on beds" Kinley said. "What?" the lady asked in confusion. Realizing he wasn't canine anymore, Kinley accepted the offer and went straight to bed. The next day Kinley woke up and decided he would go too school so he could learn more about humans, since he was one now. He got up, took the lady's car with permission and drove too school. He started asking around in the school for directions of where to go. He always got answers. At the end of the day Kinley realized it would be a lot harder to become a human then he thought, but he realized that if he could live on the streets and survive this long, then he certainly can become human.

Kinley had a lot of bravery and courage. When he was on the streets he was able to survive. He also certainly could survive becoming a human. What about you? Can you survive any problem that comes your way? Would you be able to survive the streets? This is a story of bravery and courage, and to show you that you can overcome anything!
The Poor Giver
This is an old story I wrote a while ago, it has a very good moral to it.

In a very poor society, there lived a very poor family. They were struggling to keep paying the bills.  One normal day the man of his household was by a wooden bench holding a sign. He was trying to get money but no one was giving any due to the high rate of poverty in the town. Mean while the woman of the household was doing housework and the man had given up begging. Then there was a knock at the door. Knock knock...The woman answered the door. When the woman opened the door you will never guess what she saw!...she saw...a man who was standing in front of the door. He looked as poor as the rest of them but what he did was more than any of them would do. He donated one million dollars to the family. Now he was poor but he had quite a bit of money, but money gets gone quickly. The woman was crying and the man of their household came over and asked her what was wrong, and she said "this man just donated one million dollars" "well thank you very much sir!" shouted the man with delight. "Your welcome" said the poor give.
The moral of this story is that, the act of kindness is more rich than any silver coin or dollar could ever be. As long as there is kindness in your life, your as rich as a king.
The Lost Men of Santiago
A lost town, Santiago. Old, abandoned, worn down and forgotten. Never too be heard of again. This is the story of how Santiago and the men from there, were lost and forgotten.
The late tribe in North Santiago, a place full of sorrow and pain, grew hungrier and needier each day. They were prisoners held captive in the town, and treated brutally. Many had painful marks on their body. They weren't given the right amount of nutrition or hygiene. It was a rough time for those living in this town at this time. Many men died due to the harsh way they were treated. One cold night, the men from Santiago decided they were going to sneak out so they came up with a plan. At midnight when all their captureres would sleep, they snuck out. They walked for miles, only to find nothing. They were in the middle of no where. The next day the capturers woke up and noticed all their slaves had gone, they declared them "lost". That's how the men of Santiago became the "lost men" of Santiago.
The Sinister Stare
"I wake every night and see in my room, intently watching me, a big black Newfoundland dog with a white forefoot."
In a house, one lying in bed and one on a chair accompanying the other,  two men who were talking, one was a physician.

'I sent for you, Doctor,' said the other, 'but I don't think you can do me any good. Maybe you can recommend a specialist in psychopathy. I fancy I'm a bit loony.'
'You look all right,' the physician said.
'You shall judge -- I have hallucinations. I wake every night and see in my room, intently watching me, a big black Newfoundland dog with a white forefoot.'
'You say you wake; are you sure about that? "Hallucinations" are sometimes only dreams.'
'Oh, I wake all right. Sometimes I lie still a long time, looking at the dog as earnestly as the dog looks at me -- I always leave the light going. When I can't endure it any longer I sit up in bed -- and nothing is there!
''M, 'm -- what is the beast's expression?'
'It seems to me sinister. Of course I know that, except in art, an animal's face in repose has always the same expression. But this is not a real animal. Newfoundland dogs are pretty mild looking, you know; what's the matter with this one?"
'Really, my diagnosis would have no value: I am not going to treat the dog.' The physician laughed at his own pleasantry, but narrowly watched his patient from the corner of his eye.
All the doctor could prescribe was that perhaps the dog was a foreshadowing sign of what was to come. Simple to say "a warning sign". Only question left to answer, who sent this dog and what was going to happen? The man lying in bed decided to rise out of bed, head downstairs and investigate. The man decided to go too his friends house who knows a lot about new foundland dogs. She said "now tell me, what kind of house do you live in?" "I live in a large manor, it's old and rustic" answered the man. "Ahh perhaps this dog is actually a warning sign". "but from who?" the man was wondering. The woman could not answer this and she sent him to the town leader....
The man was on a mystery trying to figure out who sent this dog, if it was real, and what exactly it wanted. The man went to the town leader and knocked on his door. "Ahh yes come in." Responded the man pretty quickly as if he was expecting him. They sat down and the town leader asked "so whats troubling you"? "Yes well...umm..". He didn't know what to say, this man seemed creepy. "I have come here for a certain purpose, a newfoundland dog to be exact. He has a white forepaw and has a sinister look on his face. This dog randomly appears at nighttime and never in the morning. Sometimes I just lay and stare back at him, he does nothing, but when I sit up and look at him...he vanishes." "it seems like you are worried about this vision you are seeing." answered the town leader after thinking over the situation. "Is it only a vision?" asked the man. "No not only a vision, it is indeed a real dog." responded the town leader. "how do you know this?" asked the man. "I have not been in your home, no, I have not met you, no, I am not a relative, no, but I have been visited by that dog you describe. It has come to me too with the same reactions. I wonder day and night about him. I have figured why he is here." "Then why" said the man eager to find out. "It is sort of a warning sign. I'd call it more of a "call for help." "But who sent him? what's wrong with them? where are they? and why does he disappear? "I do not have answer for those questions yet, all I know is someone needs help, not sure who or why." "Okay so how are we going to figure it out?" "Easy we research and keep getting clues from the dog."CONT'D
Figuring It Out
continueing from the last story...
Every night we kept getting visitations from the dog. He kept giving us sinister stares. How would you feel if a black newfoundland dog kept appearing in your room with a sinister expression on his face? You'd be scared wouldn't you? What if someone needed help, would you help? We spent the next few days observing the dog, no luck figuring out what was wrong. The last day I wrote down my observations and wen't to the man. We both closely studied our records and tried to figure out what they all meant. All we could come up with is that somebody needs our help, but who and why?The night I returned home, the dog appeared again. Normally if I sat up the dog would vanish, but this time the dog ran to my bed and jumped up staring right up at my face. I was really worried, this must have been urgent. I wrote down what I had just observed and went to the man's house along with the dog. The man opened the door and we went inside. He was surprised to see I had the dog. That day I had walked around town, and a lady walked upto me. She called the dog by name and petted it as if she knew him. She told me that their was someone who lived a long time ago in the town, he was her neighbor, "the dog had belonged to the man and they had a close bond. One day the man had disappeared, no one knew what had happened, we all just figured he was gone. Maybe he's still alive." Explained the lady. The dog started barking and ran looking back towards me, he ran to a street that was abandoned and dark. He ran into an abandoned building and sat down. When I caught up to him, he was lying down by a man. It was the man the lady had talked about. The man woke up and I had asked him a few questions. He answered them all. He said he went home one day and no one noticed him, he fell and couldn't get up so he sent his dog to find some help, the dog found the man.
Gotta Have It

GOTTA HAVE IT.

Soft drink companies wage a constant battle with new slogans and clever commercials in their efforts to get you to buy their brand instead of their competitors' brands. See if you can match the following slogans and soft drinks.

1. GOTTA HAVE IT!
2. DO THE DEW
3. OBEY YOUR THIRST
4. UH-HUH!
5. SQUIRT YOUR THIRST
6. JUST WHAT THE DR. ORDERED
7. IT'S AN UP THING
8. THE FOAM GOES STRAIGHT TO YOUR BRAIN
9. IT'S THE REAL THING

A. COCA-COLA
B. SPRITE
C. 7UP
D. PEPSI-COLA
E. MUG ROOT BEER
F. DR. PEPPER
G. DIET PEPSI
H. MOUNTAIN DEW
I. SQUIRT

Some of those soft drink slogans are more well known than others, but Pepsi's "Gotta Have It!" is among the most appropriate and not just for a cola. Have you ever seen a friend wearing a cool hat or pair of shoes and thought, Gotta have it? Have you ever seen a classmate's science fair project and thought, Gotta have it?

That's the kind of feeling God was talking about when he commanded us not to covet. But the tenth commandment does more than tell us what God doesn't want us to do. It also reveals something important about God. It reveals that God values contentment. And God values contentment because he never wants; he has everything he needs because he is everything he needs. And he wants us to be content with what he gives us. When we are content, instead of constantly wanting or demanding more, we reflect what God is like.

Francis Schaeffer, a Christian philosopher, wrote, "The climax of the Ten Commandments is the Tenth Commandment. Any time that we break one of the other
commandments of God, it means that we have already broken this commandment, in coveting."* Think about it. When a person steals, he first covets what he steals; when a person lies, she first covets what will be gained by lying, and so on. In that way, the sin of coveting is at the root of all sin.

REFLECT: How does God want us to look at possessions? Is it wrong to admire what someone else has? When does admiration become coveting?

PRAY: "God, help me appreciate what I have, to enjoy the beautiful things around me, and to be content with you and all you have given me."

Dover
I get an email from a mysterious planet called Dover saying "Dear Ashley Willms, We have contacted you to inform you that you've won a free trip to visit Dover. Dover is an extraordinary planet 20 miles in space from Earth which is your home planet. On Earth you are probably accustomed to your ways there but our ways are substantially different from yours. You shake hands for greeting but we prefer to just say a hearty "Hello". By Hearty I mean we say it from our heart.  If you accept this offer please inform us before you arrive so we can greet you properly. Thank you - Dover Institute." As I finish reading the email I totally start freaking out! Not that I'm not overly happy and thrilled about this trip but I mean...another planet? What is it like? Are they friendly? How did they know about me? Who are they? What do they look like? Suddenly I realize I need to respond to them and quick. "I will take the soonest flight out, thank you for inviting me - Ashley Willms." I start packing and then board the plane. I am nervously excited. I sure hope they are friendly. Finally my plane lands and I step off just as it starts on flight leaving me behind. As I walk around in amazement I notice a strange building. I walk in and standing right by the front entrance is some sort of creature. With beauty like an eagle, a wild spirit like a horse, and body like a royal queen.  I was so astonished by the beauty of this magnificent creature that I forgot she was standing right in front of me. "Hello" she said in a welcoming tone. "Hello!" I said back. "Welcome to Dover" she told me. "Thank you" I said back to her. She showed me around in the strange building that happened to be a very large manor. She showed me to my room and let me unpack. After a few hours it was time for  me to go to supper. The creature who I now know as Akile called me down for supper and sat down on a chair in the dining room.  At supper it was Akile, her husband Zerk, their dog Aztec and Me. Dogs in Dover are completely different from dogs on earth. The dogs in Dover have very thick fur, and they are all medium sized. I'd say about 3 inches tall or 4. The next few days I spent going to the markets, parks, and local stores. You know how on earth we have libraries, well in Dover they don't have any. Instead they sell their books at the local markets. Skateboards, scooters, bikes, longboards and motorcycles do not exist in Dover. Instead they have high tech four wheelers, quads, and ripsticks. Makeup also does not exist in Dover. Dovians believe that natural beauty is better than fake beauty that makeup gives you. Another thing about Dover is that they are strong devoted Christians. They follow Jesus with all their heart. You will never meet a Dovian that doesn't love Jesus. Being Christians means that they definitely have a church. It's called the Dovian's Church Of Christ (DCC). Also all their schools are christian schools. On Dover there is no such thing as an unbeliever. After I was done touring Dover, I decided to go to bed. Akile came into my room and said "can I tell you something?." "Sure" I answered. Then she said "I have never been to Earth. I really want to go there." Suddenly it gave me a great idea. "What if you travel to earth for a few weeks while I stay here!" I randomly shouted out. Akile got really excited and agreed. It was Akile's earth coming and we were heading to the airport. Akile hopped on the plane, Zerk and I said goodbye and then Akile was off to Earth. Zerk and I headed back to Dover.
Akile's Trip To Earth
I (Akile) landed from the Earthian airport. I hopped off the plane and was amazed by the complete difference from this world and ours. When I exited the airport I felt like a true alien. This planet is completely different from mine and no one even acts the same. I walk up to what must be an Earthian and he says "Hi!" really loudly. "Hello are you an Earthian?" I ask softly. "No I am a human and what are you?" he asks rudely. "I think you mean who am I, and I am Akile from the planet Dover" I respond somewhat confidently. "Oh so your an alien" he remarks back. Wow people on Earth are really rude. I find a nearby park and sit on a wooden bench. A young lady probably in her early 20's comes up to me and says "Hello" in a very welcoming tone. "Hello" I say back almost mimicking. "Would you like to stay at my place?" she kindly offers. "Sure!" I kindly agree. On my first day here I have already learned that some Earthians...whoops I meant humans, are nice and some aren't. I just hope they believe in Jesus. The first day I arrived on Earth it was treacherous but I hope today will be more satisfying. Today I have decided I will go to some of the local markets here. They don't have the same markets that we have on Dover. On Dover all our markets are outside, on Earth most of theirs are inside with air conditioning. Today I was walking to the store called Publix when a lady walked by me and said "Knock Knock". "Whose there?" I asked. "Impatient cow". While I was in the middle of my response "impatient cow..." she just randomly interrupted me saying "moo". "You know your not a cow right? And that was rude" I responded. She laughed and said "It was just a joke". "What's a joke?" I asked. She told me a joke was something funny that people do on Earth. "Oh okay" I said and left. While I got to the store I realized it was very different from Dover. I finished shopping and I walked out of Publix. I was walking for about a mile when I noticed a building made out of bricks. I decided to walk inside and I saw nothing but books. I saw a sign that said "The Library". We don't have libraries in Dover. "Hello how may I help you?" a lady behind a desk who I did not notice at first said. "I'm just looking" I told her. I walked around astonished by the whole place. I walked up to a girl sitting at a table reading a book and I shouted "this place is so cool!". "shoo!" a lady whispered to me. "Whoops sorry" I whispered back. I quietly raided the book aisles to find a good book to read, picked a book, and sat down to read. After a few hours it was time to go home. I walked back to the house and told the lady what I did today. The next day the lady had to go to work while I stayed home by myself. I decided to walk down to the library. I walked inside to the books, raided the aisles for an interesting book and sat down at a table and started reading. As I was almost finished the lady who I was staying with ran over to me quietly and said "you cant look like that, let's give you more of a human look". "Okay!" I said excited. After we were done I finished my book and started reading a new one. It was called "Moonlight Ranscent". "Moonlight Ranscent, that's a good book" a strange man said. "Oh well thank you" I shyly said. I put the book down to face whoever this man could be. "I am Marlin, and who might you be?" The handsome young man said to me. "I am Akile" I responded back. "Nice to meet you beautiful Akile" Marlin said. "Thank you Marlin, nice to meet you too." I said back. Suddenly the lady walked into the library while Marlin and I were conversing. "Marlin! What are you doing!" The lady shouted. "Marline, I-I didn't notice you were there. It's not what it looks like." Marlin scrambled out. Oh there I see whats going on now. "how could you!?" Marline asked. "I- I'm sorry Marline" Marlin sorrowfully said. Marline stormed off. "Marline please wait!" Marlin shouted but no response. "I'll handle it" I said. I ran off after Marline to our house I was staying at. "Marline" I said to her. "I don't want to talk to you. How could you!?" she said angrily. "I am so sorry Marline, I didn't know who he was or else I would have immediately left. Please forgive me I didn't know" I pleaded. "Okay I forgive, I mean you are knew here. But I'm still mad at Marlin." Marline said. "And you should be" I said. We decided to watch a movie for a little while then went to bed after supper, which they call dinner here. The next day I stayed home and for the next week I traveled around the town. I saw some orange trees, local markets, more libraries, even animals. I didn't even know Giraffes existed. They have such long necks. I am glad we do not have bugs and spiders in Dover because they disgust me and kinda scare me. I love the music here, it's so beautiful. I also found a lot of people here believe and love Jesus but some don't. One time while I was walking down the street a man stopped me and said "you are so beautiful, may I show you something?". "Yeah sure" I said as he took my hand to guide me there. When we reached our destination he showed me the most amazing sight I have ever seen. Something we do not have in Dover. It was sparkling lights! "My name is Crew, you know what that means here on Earth?" He asked me. "No" I said. "It means sparkling" Crew said. "Wow Earth is so amazing" I said. "So are you" he said and then he got on his knee and did something really strange! "Will you marry me" Crew asked and I could sense the love he had for me. "Oh Crew I am so sorry but I- I got to go" I said and ran off. He tried to catch up with me but I left him behind crying. I ran into the house and the second I got inside my phone rang. I answered it. "Please Akile Please!" Crew pleaded. I immediately hung up. I went straight to bed. In the morning Marline said I had eight messages from last night and this morning. I immediately walked out the door to take walk and immediately Crew was right there. I jogged off with Crew following right behind me. "I have a husband!" I shouted but yet he still jogged after me. After a week of being chased by Crew I finally decided it was time to go home. Marline took me to the airport. When we got to the airport we stepped out of the car and walked inside. I was about to get on the plane and was saying goodbye to Marline and Marlin when Crew came running up with tears strolling down his face. "I'm sorry" I said to Crew sympathetically. I slowly walked onto the plane and took my seat as the plane took off. "I've never seen him so in love" I heard Marlin say as the plane started flying. When I finally reached Dover I ran off the plane and waited for Ashley. How was Earth? I Ashley asked. It was great Ashley! There was this guy there though, his name was Crew and he seemed to really love me. Akile why do you look exactly like me? And you saw my boyfriend!? Oh my goodness Ashley he's your boyfriend? Yeah why? Let's just say you'll have a surprise when you get home...and when Ashley arrived home Crew proposed to her and she told him the whole story. As for Akile, well Akile went back to her husband Zerk and lived happily ever after on Dover.   The End
Crew's Proposal
I Ashley returned back to Earth my home planet. I miss Dover but I am excited to be back here at home. I got home and called Crew. "Hey hows it going?" I asked. "I have a surprise for you tomorrow" he said to me. "I can't wait!" I said back. "See you tomorrow" he said. "bye" I said then hung up. I went to bed and felt very comfortable to be back in my own bed. The next day I woke up and got ready. I went outside and Crew had his car running, he opened the door for me and I got in. He took me to a beautiful forest and we walked to a beautiful sparkling light garden. I sat down on the white wooden bench and he got down on one knee and was about to say something when suddenly he said "oh wait I forgot!". He turned on more lights and it was amazing. He got back down on one and took my hands into his. It felt magical and the moment became even more special when a shooting star came across the sky. "It's so beautiful" I said. "And so are you" Crew said and he looked into my eyes. He said with the most passion "I love you Ashley. Will you marry me?". I was so stunned (in a good way). It was the most romantic thing I had ever seen. The sparkling lights, the shooting star, a proposal! This couldn't have gone any better. "Yes!" I shouted. "Yes" I said again in amazement. He kissed my hand and gave me a hug. Then he took my hand as I stood up and lead me to a place similar to where we were but this place had a table set and two chairs. We sat down, prayed over the food, and ate. That night I couldn't get to bed. It was just to amazing for me to possibly sleep. I decided to call Akile, I figured since she lived all the way in Dover she would have a different time zone. I was right, Akile was wide awake. "So how special was it?" She asked in excitement. "It was amazing. There were sparkling lights, even a shooting star!" I rambled off so fast she couldn't even respond. "That's great, congratulations." "Thank you" I said. "How are you and Zerk" I asked wondering. "We are doing good" Akile responded. We talked on the phone for hours until it was morning. When we hung up Crew called me to say hi, to which I said hello back. We talked for a few hours about wedding plans and then I had to go to school. After school I had a meeting at the church which Crew also attended so we got to announce to the committee about our engagement. We discussed the venue and other wedding details and then talked about church business. After the meeting I went back home, ate dinner and went to bed.
Poor Little Orphan
magine an abandoned dilapidated house. Worn down and neglected. If you walked into this house you'd assume it's been abandoned for years maybe even centuries. Imagine in that house is a sad lonely little orphan child sitting in a corner crying. Not because of fighting, not because of hurtful words, not because of yelling...because of neglect, fear, hunger, thirst, and no family. Never even had a haircut and torn up clothes meant you couldn't even tell whether if it was a girl or boy. One day the orphan was so hungry, there had to be an option in town. The orphan traveled into town in search for some food and drink. The orphan passed a lady walking down the street and she said "poor little orphan" and kept on walking. Then the orphan passed a boy playing in his yard and he said "poor little orphan". Finally the orphan made it to the market and found some food for sale, the orphan didn't realize there was a price for it. As the orphan put the food and drink on the counter, the lady checking the orphan out said "poor little orphan, you must pay for this food. Do you have any money?" The orphan didn't understand and was confused. "I am sorry but I cannot give you this" the lady said as she put the items on the shelf. The orphan saw that she did this and walked away sad and hungry. Once again everybody the orphan passed they would always say "poor little orphan" and just go on there way. Having no other choice, the orphan returned to the house and sat down crying again. The orphan had fallen asleep until morning. The next day the orphan woke up and returned back to town. The town was pretty quiet and almost empty. Most people had jobs so were at work. The orphan sat down on a near by bench and stared around at the town, watching the kids playing in their yards, or the men and women that were on their lunch breaks eating. The orphan started dreaming about what it might be like to live that sort of life. All the orphan really wanted was just a family, a good home, some food to eat and a kind caring friend, but all the orphan had was a dirty building. The orphan was just happy to at least be alive. Later that day as the orphan was walking around town a woman walked by. At first she said "poor little orphan" but then...The lady stopped right in her tracks, turned around and walked right back to that orphan. She took the orphans little hand and walked into a store. The orphan went in a daze just dreaming about all the food and clothes that were in that shop. It was all clean and smelled so fresh. The orphan had a feeling that had never been there before. It was the feeling of joy and happiness. The woman asked the orphan "what's your name?." The orphan had not learned how to speak so the woman decided to name her Odelia meaning thankful. "My name is Ashley" The woman told Odelia. Ashley took Odelia shopping at the store and then brought her to her house. Ashley sent Odelia to school to learn how to speak and from there Ashley home schooled Odelia. When Odelia could finally talk Ashley asked if she would live with her. Odelia said yes. While Odelia and Ashley were out shopping Odelia notice a little girl having a fit because her mother wouldn't let her get a fancy toy. Ashley asked Odelia if she would like something special and Odelia's response was "I already have enough. I have a family, a house, a bed and food. I do not want anymore". Ashley was stunned. She was surprised a child could have such a thankful heart. When they were walking out of the store Odelia noticed a little girl in the market that didn't have enough money for some food. Odelia asked Ashley "may I have some money." Ashley said "yes" as she watched Odelia walk into the market and hand the cashier money. The little girl was so thankful and said thank you. Instead of "Your welcome" Odelia replied "I was once like you. Shopping in this market with no money. The same lady told me she could not give me what I needed. I know what it's like to not have enough. I am thankful." Then she walked back to Ashley who said "you are such a thankful kind little girl".  From that day on "the poor little orphan" had an impact on that town.
                                                                                             The end
Odelia (The Poor Little Orphan)
Hello,
I'm Odelia from the story Poor Little Orphan. That story was about my life and how I grew up from being an orphan with no food to being a girl with a family, a home, a bed and food to eat. In this documentary story  I will be discussing life as a teen and answering questions like "how did it feel?" or "have you ever wished for more?"

Now a teenager living in my new home, life has been great. I am so grateful for everything that has happened so far. Today a reporter knocked on our door so I let him in and he interviewed me. This is how it went:
Rep: Hello Odelia
Odelia: Hello
Rep: how are you today?
Odelia: I am good
Rep: that's good, we have a few questions for you.
Odelia: ok
Rep: your name, Odelia, why did your mother choose that name?
Odelia: well first of all my name means thankful or grateful, and the meaning behind it is because my mother new what I had gone through and saw through it all how grateful I was and that's where the name came from.
Rep: what was it like living alone
Odelia: pretty scary actually. I didn't know if I would survive or even what I was going to do the next day. That day when I went to the market I was confused. I wasn't sure what that lady at the counter was doing with the food I had picked out but I just went and left.
Rep: why did you just leave?
Odelia: I had realized, I had no money. That lady wasn't going to give me it free.
Rep: have you ever said to yourself "I wish I had..."?
Odelia: I think everybody once in a while wishes for more. There have been times when I wanted food or a family but mostly I was grateful. "I might not have food but atleast I am still living" I would tell myself everyday.
Rep: seems like through all those troubles you stayed strong.
Odelia: yeah, I mean, you have to. Life throws things at you and you have to be able to take them on.
Rep: what do you hope to accomplish with your story?
Odelia: I hope people who read this get impacted. Hopefully people will be more giving, that's our goal.
Rep: and that is a wonderful goal! That's all we have time for, thank you Odelia for sharing your story.
Odelia: of course, and remember everybody "giving is always better than receiving."
The Best Of Time
The best hour, the best morning, the best night, the best minute, the best second and the best view. I think this is the best place to start. Gazing upon the sky staring at the beauty of the God made sunset. Shimmering with bold colors of red and orange, with just a mere hint of yellow-gold. As the atmosphere around me turns dark with colors of gray and navy-blue almost to a shade of black. The trees shaded creating a charade in the background, a scheme of nature. This is the best time to walk outside and see the beauty in the peak of it's show. The escapade the sky ejects is a symbol that shows it is almost time to end the day. Early in the morning a special surprise arises to greet anyone who is willing to wait. The golden rays of the bright sun start rising through the sky causing an effect that is resourceful for the whole day. It is a sign that it is out to play. Sitting by the lake, shining as bright as a diamond, I can see the sun's perfect reflection as if it is kissing the water. When it rains the droplets hit the leafs below and let out a beautiful shimmer. When the wind blows the trees and bushes below wave. Do they wish to say "hello"? I should think they do when they wave. When spring comes it brings a beautiful gift with it. The beautiful colors of red, purple, white and yellow are hidden until the weather becomes warmer, when they pop out to greet the world around them. Each petal as decadent as the other. Not one single flower could replace the other, for without one it seems as if there are none. What makes nature? What makes the world the beauty it is? To me nature is important, why? Because to me nature is a gift to us. Did God have to create the trees and the bushes and the flowers and the scenery? Of course not but yet He did. Nature makes the world beautiful even when the beauty is being taken from it. Imagine this world without nature. No flowers, no grass, no trees, no sunsets or sunrise, no lakes, no color...Would you live in that world? Everything in it's color creates the beauty in this world. Without it this world is a place no one would want to see.
The Princess' Dress
Getting ready to be crowned princess, the duchess puts on her sparkling blue dress and crystal white shoes. As she stands on stage ready to be crowned, she makes a speech about how the country will be improved by her becoming a princess. After her speech the princess takes her crown, sparkling with 2K diamonds, and places it upon the duchess' head. The crowd begins cheering loudly as the new princess curtsies to her new country. As the new princess the crowd easily subjects authority to her, but  what characteristic does she hold that tells them she is their leader? What signs do they have? What tells them above all the other townspeople  that this one has the authority over them? The crown, the shoes, the dress...what other woman wears these exact clothing? These clothing is how they identify her authority over them, how they identify her as a princess. What were to happen if instead of wearing a dress, fancy shows and a crown, she wore dirty ripped clothes and old dirty shoes? Would they know the same authority? See her as their princess? If a princess was to walk around looking like a normal person they would never give her the authority because they would never know she was the princess. Same goes for our faith. If we hide in the crowd acting as the world does then they would never know we were Christians. What is our identification? How do people know we are Christian by looking at us? By our actions. How we speak, how we treat others, and how we live in the world. That is why it is so important that we act the right way, because we are light to this dark world. Also the way we act shows the character of God and if we are behaving badly or acting like the world then we are showing the world a wrong view of God. As Christians we are set apart from the world, why? Because this world is dark and it needs light. We have seen the light and no longer live in darkness. We should do our best to bring light to others.
The Ultimate Story
Not of courage, not of heroics, not of brave wits, but of surrender won this true hero honor. This is "The Ultimate Story" of Alexandra Antonio (Alexa). Alexa is a beautiful Hispanic girl who was raised in a farm home. She is brave, kind, puts others needs before hers, she has many opinions of people but doesn't often express them, she is very perceptive of others feelings, she prefers a smaller group rather than  a bigger one but doesn't like being called shy, she is very modest and not really confrontational. She fears drawing attention to herself because it makes her uncomfortable. Alexa follows the rules, is dutiful and very responsible. She is very stable, values traditions and interested in serving others. Alexa doesn't like competitions. "Competitions makes only one a winner, but everyone is a winner" says Alexa. She is very good at finishing tasks, cleaning, organizing and planning. Although she may appear to be not spontaneous, she definitely likes to prove that she can be. Alexa's story didn't start out this way at all..."I used to have many fears, I was very dependent" a recent interview showed.

Alexa's story is one of bravery, wits, but most of all...honorable surrender. Here is:
                                                                        Alexa's Story
Hi there,
My name is Alexandra Antonio. I go by Alexa. My story starts out in a small farm house in California. Growing up on a farm house taught me a lot about responsibility. Being part of the family meant I had my part of the responsibilities. Everyone had their own chores they were selected to do every morning. My schedule consisted of, milk the cows and goats, clean the pigs, wash the horses and exercise them, muck out the stalls, organize the barn, keep my room organized, and also keep up with my school work. My life was hectic with all the work I had to do every morning. I never had much of a social life. The only time I was around people was at home or at school. I never made friends when I was at school because I was always too busy and after a while my parents decided it was too much for me so I ended up being home schooled. Most teens wouldn't like to live this kind of life, but I actually liked the responsibility. Plus I wasn't really comfortable around other people. One day while I was cleaning out the stalls my parents walked in. "Alexa, we are trying something new. We are going to go to a place called Church" My parents told me. I was very excited. It wasn't often that we would go some place new and while we were there I felt like it might never happen again. My parents had gotten an invitation to the Church and decided they would go. After Church was over my parents and I went home and I got straight to my chores. My parents did some long talking and finally decided that going to Church was just too much considering all the chores they had. In the beginning I was okay with it, but one day for some reason I started looking for a bible. There was something inside me that made me really want to read it. Finally as I found a bible I opened it up and started reading it. As days went by I would constantly read that bible, during chores, before I would go to bed, free time, even during dinner until my parents would tell me to set it down and eat. One day I decided to confront my parents about how I have had a desire to read the bible and how it has changed my life. I started asking them if we could go to church again but no matter how much I pleaded their answer always stayed the same. Before I was okay with my life and the responsibilities I had, but then I realized it was taking up too much time in my life. I was used to being independent in the farm house that I'd had, but I soon realized their was something greater I hadn't been seeking. Finally when I turned eighteen I told my parents of my thoughts and how I wanted my life to change. I had gotten too dependent in these responsibilities and they had become my life. I told my parents of my hopes for my future and came up with my decision. This farm house was taking my life and it was either that new passion my soul had or the farm house my life had. I thought no longer, I knew what needed to be done. I started packing my bags and my parents came in and when they asked me to do my chores I said " this is not in any disrespect, but I have no more chores to do. I have given my life up to these responsibilities and there is something more I should be surrendering to. I have started reading the bible and learning the character of God and Jesus is my commander now. I follow Him and only Him wherever He goes, and right now He is having me go somewhere else. These chores are taking my whole life but I need to give it to God. I love you and hope to see you soon. Goodbye...When I headed out the door that was where my whole new life began. I went to a christian college, got a nice job, settled into a beautiful place and went on many mission trips. I met a wonderful christian man who was a great spiritual leader for my new family, had a beautiful daughter and did wonderful work for the Lord. My family had been doing work for God for a few years. One day I got a knock on the door. When I answered it my mother was standing right outside. "What are you doing here mother?" I asked in curiosity. "That day you left surprised your father and I. We didn't realize anything like that would ever happen. We know you respect us a lot and that you have surrendered your life for this. I just wanted to say that we are very proud of you. You are not disrespectful...but you Honorable, and brave." My mother told me. "Mom that means so much to me, thank you" I said. I welcomed her in and we sat down to some tea. My mother stayed on that farm but I left that farm to start a new honorable life. I may not be a heroic, or even a  superhero, but I have surrendered my life and that's more than any fame of a celebrity.

Akile and Zerk: Hey my name is Akile and me and my husband Zerk are from a planet called Dover. It is a planet where everybody believe in the same faith. It's awesome. I visited earth one time and I have mixed feelings about it. I can't decide whether to like it or not. One minute I do and the other I don't.
Marline: I am a friend of Akile. She met me when she visited earth. She also met my husband Marlin.
Akile: Oh yeah I forgot this guy named Crew started acting weird around me and even asked me to marry him...
Ashley Willms: What!?
Akile: Oh wait..,whoops. Albert Ally you there!??
Ally: Hi I'm Ally. Excuse those two, they mess around all the time. I keep telling them to stop but they don't listen (Akile: says you) anyway...Albert is a friend of mine (Albert: and she likes me) Albert be quiet I'm talking. Sorry about them, they don't mean it. I hope :/
Harold: Hello I am Harold the Armchair. Yes I am an armchair but don't judge me. Furniture can have as much feeling as humans do, can they not? Oh well anyway we do.
Bree: Hey I am Bree Davenport. I know what your thinking "oh from lab rats?." Well yes I am but my role in this story is going to be a different role or so I hope.
Chase: Don't listen to Bree she just likes being on camera. As for me though, I do actually get a different role.
Adam: Guess what!? I actually get to be smart in this story. It feels awesome.
Aliana Marales: Hi I am from the story "Impure Mistakes." Baby Alli is doing great and so is Grace. Grace is fifteen already, she grew up fast.
Michella Walker: Hi I am Michella walker. Baby Walker is so cute. He always makes the funniest faces. I think he got it from his dad Derek.
Derek Walker: Hey I am Derek Walker. Baby Walker is so cute.
Jean Winters: Hi I'm JW.  I am looking forward to this story.
Mr. Huttleton: Hi I am Mr. Huttleton. I own the Huttleton hotel but sadly in the story I end up passing away.
Kinley: Hi I am Kinley the Amazing Dog. Why you ask? Why because I am human yet I started out as a dog. coincidence? I think not! Sorry I just love that line.
Derek Ward Black: Hi I am Derek Black. I am part of one of the first stories ever written. It's amazing and I know this one will be too.
Haley Pierce: I am Hayley. I am part of the story with Derek. We're excited for this story.
As you see all the characters are very excited to be in this story or novel. It will be the biggest project I as an author have ever attempted to write but I know with my skills it can get done. We are going to start with a few interviews and then we'll have the story. After the story we will have special meetings with the characters.
Rep: Hello I am the reporter. I will be doing the interviews today. Let's bring out Marco Jackson first.
Marco Jackson: Hey there.
Rep:Hey Marco. So the readers want to know, why exactly is it that you started your gang?
Marco Jackson: I started the gang because I was facing insecurities and I started doing bad things.
Rep: What was it like when you met Marcie? How did it change your attitude?
Marco Jackson: When I met Marcie she made me happy. I saw how joyful she was even though she was doing right and I realized you don't need to be bad to be happy.
Rep: okay, let's talk to Marcie now. Hello Marcie.
Marcie Sinclaire: Hi there!
Rep: What was it like meeting Marco and have you noticed any change in him?
Marcie Sinclaire: meeting Marco has been awesome. When I first met him I didn't know what to think. Most girls were afraid of him but I knew he wanted fear and I wasn't giving in. He admired my bravery. He has seen the way I act and I have noticed a change in his attitude.
Rep: out of both stories you are in which do you like best? Do you prefer a younger role or an older role?
Marcie Sinclaire: I prefer "Hard to Love" over "Just Quit" because I prefer a younger role rather than an older role.
Rep: nice job killing two birds with one stone. Shows some professionalism. Thank you Marcie. Now let's bring out love.
Love: hey there.
Rep: hello love. Tell us, so many people define you. How do you feel about their definitions of you and their thoughts of you?
Love: I can say it definitely isn't fun being limited of who you are or aren't to a box. I definitely am a lot more than people limit me to. They say love is a feeling, or love is an emotion. No, emotion is how you feel, love is the action you take because of that feeling. Feeling is emotion, not love. I enjoy being who I am but I wish people could see the true me.
Rep: I can understand your feelings. Well thank you Love, now let's welcome to our studio Laura Ingalls Wilder!
Laura: hello
Rep: thank you so much for joining us today Laura. The readers want to know, is there any difference playing a role in a book then in a movie.
Laura: most of my fans already know I am in other books of my own. Working in a TV show is exciting and there are great actors. Same with stories, all the characters work great together. I think it is similar to work with both but in books you don't speak, it's all written down. Less stress.
Rep: understandable. Are you excited about this new story? what are your thoughts on Laura for this story?
Laura: I am very excited for this new story! I think Laura will be the same as she always is. Kind and loyal to Almanzo and I think she will also be a teacher. We'll have to see what's in store for her.
Rep: yes we will and I am sure the readers cannot wait. Let's bring out Almanzo Wilder.
Rep: so Almanzo, in this story you have a big responsibility (sorry no spoilers)
Almanzo: yes I do.
Rep: how do you feel about it? are you nervous? excited?
Almanzo: I am very excited. It is a little nerve racking but overall I'm up to the challenge.
Rep: what about your fields? Will you continue your work or be on a little break?
Almanzo: As our fans know the fields are big work. In this story they will not hear about a lot of field work but they will be maintained.
Rep: Thank you Almanzo. Let's bring out Ma and Pa Ingalls
Ma and Pa: hello
Rep: hey guys. so with the news of the responsibility that Laura and Almanzo are now being faced with, what are your thoughts as the parents?
Ma and Pa: well I mean we are nervous of course but definitely more so excited. We think they are responsible enough to handle this new challenge. We think it is the perfect time for this and they'll be great.
Rep: thank you guys for coming out today. Hello Odelia
Odelia: hi!
Rep: thank you for coming today. First off, when you were an orphan and you were at the shop, what were your thoughts when that lady took away your items?
Odelia: I was very confused at first, you know, I didn't understand at all. I kinda figured it out after a while that she wasn't going to give me them because I had no money. I sure wasn't going to beg for it regardless of how much I wanted it. I have everything I need now and more so it is all good.
Rep: thank you Odelia.
We have one more interview today and then we'll get ready for the story
Rep: let's bring out...she's from a new planet that some would call Dover, it's Akile! Welcome Akile.
Akile: thank you so much for inviting me.
Rep: of course...so you live on Dover. How is it different from Earth and what are your thoughts on Earth?
Akile: Dover is different from other because it is strictly faith. Just one faith and nothing else. Everyone has faith on Dover. My thoughts of Earth...well earth is different because not everyone is a believer. The markets are different in that they are mostly inside where as ours are outside. Also libraries have all the books and all our books are in the markets.
Rep: well thank you Akile.
Akile: thank you.
Rep: and that was our last interview. Forest back to you
Thank you reporter. Before we go into our adventure part of the story let's get extra deep into it...What's in store for all the readers? An excellent question! In the beginning all of the characters are going to meet. Each character or characters will have a certain story part of their own which will ty in with the others. There will points in this story where the characters will interact with the readers and also ask some questions to not only make sure you are understanding it but to also make you think. The characters are so excited to meet you all and to share their stories. Let's get to it!
Oh, I am so late! I got to hurry. Oh hey there! I didn't notice I had observers. My name is Ashley Willms and I'm about to go to school. I have been going to the University For Christ College or UFC for short. I just got off my summer break today. Sure hope today goes great! "Marco it will be fine, your just starting a new college. I heard their are a lot of people there." my friend Jeremy Russo tells me over the phone. My name is Marco Jackson and me and my buddies are transferring to a college. My girlfriend Marcie talked me into it. "Yeah but I'm still nervous ya know?" I tell my friend Jeremy. "Yeah man, I got to go see ya." He said. "See ya." I said and then we hung up. Hey I'm Beth Ann Taylorson and I am enrolling in a new college called UFC. I am so excited and can't wait. I hope the students there are nice. "Alekxander are you ready!?" My mom hollered down to me. "almost!" I shouted back. "your going to be late!" She reminded me. The time I dreaded the most. Back to school time, except this time I'd be enrolling in a college, UFC to be exact. Marco and all our friends have enrolled there too but still...not looking forward to it. I know Santo but Marco enrolled there too....oh hey! We have readers already. My name is Marcie Sinclaire and it's so nice meeting you. I was just talking to my boyfriends friend Santo who isn't looking forward to enrolling. "I just don't see the need." Santo told me. "Talk to Marco and maybe you'll change your mind." I assured him. After talking to Marco for a bit Santo finally gave in. "Do you have everything?" My mother Ashley asked. "Yes I do." I responded. "Hey, I'm just making sure Odelia." my mother told me. "Bye mom." I said right before walking into UFC. I'm Odelia who some may know by "Poor Little Orphan." I have been excited to enroll to this college but now that I am, I'm extremely nervous. Oh My Goodness! My name is Alexa Romano and you will not believe the news our principal just told our school, we have a bunch of new students! That's awesome. I hope they are friendly. I'm sure they'll love it here. My name is Alexandra Antonio and I am starting my first year at UFC. I heard it's going to be exciting! I'm Kenzie Jenkins. My friend Matthew Derek and I are enrolling into UFC. "Shane Lakeman and Matthias Lakeman ma'am." We tell the lady at the front desk. "Welcome to UFC." she welcomes us. What has gotten into you Derek, ever since we've been here you and Mark have been acting up! I don't know Hayley! I just don't like this place! Leave Mark out of this! Oh hey! Sorry about that, my name is Derek Ward Black and I am subjectively enrolled in this dumb college UFC. Sorry about him, he's been in a mood. My name is Hayley Pierce. We are enrolled in this school with our friend Mark Saunders. Hayley! Quit telling everybody, it's no big deal! Woah chill out Dere, I was just telling our readers. Let's just go Hay, we'll be late for class. Okay coming! Gotta go guys, busy day today! It's me Ashley again! Seems like you guys have gotten well acquainted with the students here. There seems to be a bit of drama between Hayley and Derek. We'll let them settle that one out in the rest of the story. There are quite a few characters you haven't gotten to meet and don't worry you'll get a chance to meet all of them, and they'll get to meet each other. Our first character that we get to meet is Akile, and she is back on the planet Dover with a few other friends. Let's go see what they're up to. Zerk do you have the bags? Yes Akile, we're all packed for our temporary move to Earth. Awsome. Wait Akile your temporarily moving to Earth? Yes Ashley we are, oh and who is this with you? Akile I would like you to meet our readers, say hi everybody. Hello guys it is so nice to meet you. I am Akile and this is my husband Zerk. We are moving to Earth with our dog Aztec and we are going to Marline and Marlin's house. Can I tell them now Ashley? Okay go ahead. The reason why we are going to Earth is because Ashley and Crew are getting married! In their last story "Crew's Proposal" they got engaged but never got married, now it's their wedding! Congrats by the way Ashley! Thank you Akile. Wow isn't Earth beautiful Ashley? It sure is Akile. Zerk what do you think? It's great Akile. And Aztec?...Aww he loves it, yay! I see Marline's house, we're here! Knock Knock...Hello? Marline! Akile!! Your here! Great to see you Marline! Great to see you Akile. Oh and you brought friends? Yes Marline this is our readers. Hello there readers, I am Akile's friend Marline. Nice to meet you. Well come on in...Akile I'm going to go to the store. Okay Ashley see you later. See ya. Let's go guys. Well look at who I ran into. Michella and Derek Walker. Nice to see you two! Ashley!! It's baby Walker too, he looks so adorable. He's growing very fast. Who's this with you? These are the readers. They decided to read our story. Well we are so glad you decided to read. I'm Michella and this is my son baby Walker. I'm her husband Derek. What brings you to the store Ashley? I was actually hoping to run into some friends so the readers could meet them and you guys showed up. Yep we showed up. I'll see you guys. Hi Ashley. Griffin! How are you doing? I'm good how are you? Doing great. This is my friend Griffin, named Griffin. We'll see you Griffin. Before we continue with our story I need to ask, are you guys enjoying this story? I sure hope you are. I think you guys should go meet some of the other characters so I'll turn the story over to Amy. Hi I'm Amy Fleming! Yes I am from a TV show called Heartland. I play as the miracle girl Amy Fleming which I also play in this story. Ty and I have some news. Let's go over to Heartland now. Ty should I tell them or you? Doesn't matter to me Amy. Okay Ty tell them. Our surprise is that we are adding an addition to our family. Yes and I am so excited! We're renovating our new home in a few days! It's a ranch home that we just bought right by Heartland. It has a lot of acres and good square footage. Only needs a little spruce up and were set. It's going to still take some time Amy. I know but I'm still excited! Hey, my name is Princess. I am in love with a Prince who everybody just calls Prince. In my previous story it was about me staying on the journey for Prince even though he was locked up and other princes tried to stop me. Nothing got in my way because I love him and I vowed I would always. It was a story with beauty and I think this story has beauty too. I have a question for you readers. When you love someone or something do you stay committed to it? Do you stay devoted? Devotion is an important and beautiful thing. It can never go wrong. Unless your devoted to the wrong thing (addiction). One thing you should always be addicted to is God. Your relationship with God is important. Hi Princess. Hey Prince. Hi guys my name is Prince. Princess is so beautiful to me, she will journey for me no matter what it takes. Her devotion is stunning. A devoted girl for God is the most beautiful girl. She is irreplaceable and uneasy to find. Hey It's Ashley Willms again. I have a nursery re rhyme for you. "Hey diddle diddle...the cat and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the moon, the little dog laughed to see such sport, and where did the dish go with the spoon?" The nursery rhyme always says "And the dish ran away with the spoon" but it doesn't say why. Here is Dish and Spoon to give you the scoop (pun intended) on where they went.  Hi, I'm Dish. I'm Spoon. Wanna know where we went? We went to get married!! Yep that's right, we belong together. Yeah sure do. I mean what good am I if people don't have a spoon to eat off me with? And what good am I  if people can't set their food somewhere? I use him, and I use her. Did that answer your question? Thank you Spoon and Dish for sharing that with us. Sounds like Derek and Hayley still have some things to sort out, and now Mark has joined the scene...what's going to happen between the three friends? Derek please just calm down, tell me what's going on. Hayley I don't want to talk right now! Hayley what's wrong with Derek, he wouldn't answer my calls. Ask him yourself. Dude what's going on? I don't want to talk right now Mark! Derek you really need to just relax and tell us what's going on. Just leave me alone Hayley. Hayley you should probably just give him some time, ya know? Your right Mark but I'm worried. Ever since we've started he's had an attitude. And it's none of your business! Derek come back! Hayley just let him go, maybe he'll cool down. Mark I'm really worried. I know Hay, just give him time. That was just crazy, I hope they settle this before it gets worse. Let's check in on Adam, Bree and Chase. Adam I told you not to touch things. Sorry Bree but it's what I do best. Adam! We just enrolled here at UFC. And I'm going to be the smartest kid here. Actually Chase there are some pretty smart kids enrolled here at UFC. What do you think Bree? It's a college...duh. I know that Chase. Hey look Bree, that man looks nice. Let's go say hi Adam!(Sarcasm). Okay!! No Adam! That was sarcasm. Oh, I knew that...I was just testing you. Hey guys, my name is Kinley. Hey my name is Adam. Adam what are you doing? I am introducing myself Bree, be polite. Hey there I'm chase! Hey Chase I'm Kinley. Kinley, you mean Kinley the Amazing Dog? Yep that's me. Wow I admire how you played that character. Um...that was actually me. Your kidding right? No I'm not. Dude, I'm the smartest person in the world and I know that is not possible. Well it actually is, for me at least. Sure. Hey there! My name is Bree, what's yours? My name is Aliana Marales. Nice to meet you Aliana. You too, Grace stop bugging Alli. She's so adorable. Oh thanks, her name is Alli. How old is she? Two monthes old. Wow that's young. Yeah I know. Mom I'm heading back to school now. Okay Grace. Who was that? Oh, my other daughter Grace. She's 17. 17, such a lucky number. I suppose so. Frank can you grab the can for me! Whose that? They are Frank and Lady Jones. Do they always bicker? Yep always. Oh I see. Ssss...Uh oh. Everybody it's the snake. Thatsss me, I'm the sssnake. Sssneaky and clever. Don't let that snake go through any open window. Guard your homes. Jean Winters, you've got the spotlight now. Thanks Ashley! I'm Jean Winters and I'm a detective. Jenna Russell is under the impression that she is also a detective, says she's better than me. I do not, that's you! Oh silly me, did I mix that up? Sorry Jenna. Hey boy! It's Buddy the black newfound land dog. He has been showing up at this mans house for help. The man talked to the town leader and the two of them figured out that Bart needed help. Bart is a man that lives in town and disappeared one day and needed help. Here's a treat boy! I heard something...hello? Who's there? It's me. Who are you? I'm Conquerer. Oh nice to meet you. No she can't die! Not now!! Shane! Shane! Wake up. Huh? It's me Matthias. I thought Forest Khan destroyed you? No dummy, we destroyed Forest. You were just having a dream. Oh few, I was getting worried. Ring Ring Ring...hello? I am looking for Amy Fleming? This is Amy, who's this? This is Ahmed. Ahmed what a surprise. Yes indeed. I was calling to see if you would come back on tour to Europe with me. Ahmed I'm sorry I can't. Oh but why not? I already told you, under the circumstances I think it's best not to. Maybe you will reconsider later, good bye. Bye. Guess who's coming for dinner guys? Who Dad? Yeah who? Ahmed!...what isn't that great news? Dad why did you invite Ahmed? Because of everything he's done for you Amy, you should thank him. Dad not a wise idea. Why not? You'll see...Hey Ty. Hey Amy! When did you get here? Just a second ago. Ring ring, ring ring...Hello? Lou! No, He told Amy he loves her Ty! Georgie! Okay what's going on!? I think it's best you left Ahmed. Of course. Ty n...Hey! When did it happen!? When you gave her that saddle!? When you were in Europe!? Huh? You can't touch me! Oh yes I can! Got off my property! After all I did for you, this is how you want to leave things?...Ty. Nothing happened? Obviously something did happen or else all that wouldn't have. Nothing happened Ty! It was all in his head! I told him we were just friends but he wouldn't listen. Well obviously whatever did happen you weren't about to tell me. I can't do this anymore. What do you mean by that? I think we need a break Amy. We need to figure this out on our own. no,  Ty please! I love you so much. I know, and I do too. But sometimes we lose things, and no matter how hard we try or before we know it, we've already lost it. Ty wait! I need to tell you something. Remember at your trailer when I was about to tell you something. Yeah? I guess I should tell you now. What is it? We're going to have a baby. Really Amy? That's great! Yeah, except you think we need a break. I'm sorry Amy, we should try to work this out together. Just promise me no more secrets. No more secrets, I promise. Hey, it's me Ashley again! How are you guys liking the story so far? I think we can step up our game. Let's continue the story with more drama and adventure. "Class for this assignment I am assigning partners. Hayley you will be partnered with Derek." Great the statement I was dreading the whole semester. Derek and I had been friends for a few years and everything was fine until recently. He moved after his mom had died and he enrolled here at UFC. His dad had died years ago so he was left alone now. I haven't seen much of him and whenever I did see him he was causing fights. Mark was doing fine but he just recently started joining Derek in his sprawls. I have to find a way to bring back the Derek I know. "Derek please just tell what's been going on." I pleaded one day while he started a fight in the hall. It started over a kid spilling his lunch accidently on Derek. "I told you Hayley I don't want to talk about it." Derek told me, becoming irritated. "Please just tell me." I pleaded. "Just leave it alone!" He shouted. It shocked me. I have never seen Derek like this before. One day I was walking down the hall when I noticed Derek picking on a girl for who knows what reason. "Stop Derek! I don't know what has gotten into you but stop taking it out on other people. Your not the only one with problems!" I shouted at him before running out of the school, tears rolling down my face. "Hayley wait!" He tried yelling before I left, but he was too late. That day I had skipped school and spent the day crying in my room. I heard a knock on the front door and went to go open it. "Hello?" I said but no one was around. I started shutting the door when someone put their hand over my mouth. I tried screaming but couldn't. They pulled me into a truck and slammed the door shut. They must have drugged me cause the last thing I remember was blackness surrounding me. I slowly opened my eyes as the light shone through the window. I looked down to notice I was sitting in a brown wooden chair, I noticed my arms were bound to it. I heard footsteps coming downstairs and then Mark opened the door and walked in. "How do you like it here Hayley?" Mark asked me. "Would help if I knew where here was." I told him. "What, what did you say?" He snapped. It made me jump in my seat. "I think we should begin." He said smirking. "Mark, why do you have to do this?" I asked. "be quiet." He yelled and slapped me across my face. I tried to rub it with my hand but realized it was bound. He started untying the ropes and who knows what he was going to do, but then a familiar voice shouted "Hayley I wanted to...." Right before the gun shot went off. "Derek!" I shouted relived to see him. "Hayley. I'm sorry about how I acted. Your right, I shouldn't take my life troubles out on others. I wanted to tell you that you were right. I guess I came on time." Derek confessed. "I'm so glad to see you. Why was Mark acting that way?" I asked. "It was all an act. Him being our friend...everything. Apparently he escaped from the cops and faked it for a while." Derek told me. I was so relieved that now everything would be normal again. Not normal anymore Hayley. What do you mean Derek? Let's tell them the story Hayley. Okay! Derek got on one knee and he said "Hayley. I love you so much. going through all this made me realize I want to be with you. Will you marry me?" He held out a ring and waited...patiently. "Yes!" I said. "I will." Hold on a minute...before we continue I want to let you know, that was a flashback. Now we're at the present day. Hayley can you check on Mason. Yes Derek. As you remember from the flashback we got engaged. Let me catch you up to speed. We got married at the end of that year and we just had a son, Mason Andrew Black. We've been married for a year. Hayley. I'm telling them our story Derek. Oh hey! I didn't realize we still had readers. You guys are still interested? We must be doing a great job entertaining you guys. How are you guys enjoying this story so far? We've heard from the characters and they have had a chance to meet each other. Now they would like to meet you guys. As you read this next part of the story each character will be asking you questions. This will help you to get deeper into the story and also learn. I'm Alexa Romano. A lot of new kids have enrolled here. I have had the chance to meet them. They all come from different backgrounds and stories. Each character is unique. Many of us come from different backgrounds. Have you ever had friends who were from different backgrounds? How were they different? What made them similar? Here at UFC there are many different students from many different backgrounds. Of course we aren't here to talk about me, we are here to talk about them! Last time we left them off, Amy and Ty were ending a heated fight, let's see how they are now. How's it coming along Ty? Good Amy, thanks for asking. Now back to Ashley. There are so many characters in this story and we want you guys to interact with them all. This story is already so long! I think we should have a quick review time to make sure you are keeping up. So far a few fights have already started and been resolved. The fight between Hayley and Derek was caused from taking pain out on innocent people. When was a time in your life when you caused trouble because of pain in your life? What happened? Did you say sorry for what you did? What have you learned from that experienced and what did you learn from Derek? Amy and Ty had a fight because of untold secrets that may have appeared to be nothing but was obviously something. When was a time when secrets left troubles in your life? What happened and how did you solve it? What did you learn from the experience? I am going to ask one more question. Out of all these lessons that the characters have showed you, what have you learned from them? Thought considered, let's move onto the next part of the story. This is the resolution. We will discover how the characters have grown through the story and what they have learned. Let's begin our interview, reporter now to you. Thank you.
Rep: first let's bring out Marco Jackson
Marco: hello again :)
Rep: hello Marco. What have you learned from this story and how has your character grown?
Marco: My first role was in "Hard to Love" and it was a different but similar role. In the beginning my character was the same in both stories but in this story I had more of a good character.
Rep: What has this experience taught you?
Marco: it's taught me to not be like Marco was in the beginning. Many people think that being bad and doing those kind of things make you feel better but it doesn't.
Rep: Thank you Marco. Now let's welcome Marcie
Marcie: Hello
Rep: Marcie, how is your roles from other stories grown compared to this role and what have you learned from all your roles?
Marcie: Many of my roles are different. In one story I play as an adult nurse in "Just Quit" and in another story I play as a teenager "Hard to Love". The roles are different and teaches different things. In comparison my other two roles haven't grown as far as this one has. The role I play in "Hard to Love" is the same role I play in this story, it has changed throughout this story by what my character learns. From all my roles I have learned to not just get right into something but to really think out the whole situation, don't just trust one source
No Gold For Me
In this small town where I live there is many stores, all in which hold certain valuable items to the world. This item is called gold. As I walk past all these shops the owners hold out pieces of gold valuables to me and ask "would you like to buy it?" They can seem very persuasive especially when they say it cost certain amounts of money. "No thanks." I say every time and then walk away. I get stares from the streets.  While I am walking past these expensive shops I notice this one shop. A shop that holds something more valuable to me than gold. See, I am not like everyone else. While gold and expense strikes others, there is one thing that catches my heart, one thing that is as one-of-a kind as a pearl to me, and that is God. The shop owners come to me and say "would you like to look around." "Yes." I say. Right before I go in I say to the shop keeper "Thank you for what you are selling. You might not make a lot of money from it but what you do offer people is more than any gold could cost from those other stores." I walked into the shop and looked around, which I was really glad when I did. Have you ever walked into a christian shop before? Every time I walk into a place like this there is a feeling I get. When I walk in an expensive store and see all the expensive things I get a good feeling, but this kind of store is different, it is a good feeling but it isn't because I know I have found something expensive but that I've found something that is one of a kind. As I walked out of the shops all the stares came back to me...I wonder why? A lady came up to me and asked "Why did you not go into the expensive stores?" I answered "so many people look through the expensive stores for hours and hours and come out with empty hands, but when I search in this kind of store, even if I haven't found anything I don't come out empty handed." She looked at me with a shocked face and she said "That is such a great point." And walked away. When she left I could tell what I had said made her think, and she wasn't thinking about money or buying things, she was thinking about God. Although we may find nothing inside the shop, we can decide whether we walk out of the shop empty handed or not.

Hello, my name is Forest. You have now read my newest short story "No Gold For Me."  It was nice wasn't it? I want you to think about something and tell me the answer. Which shop would you choose, the "expensive gold" shops or the christian shop? We need to change some things don't we? Thank you for reading and may God bless you!
